French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks an experienced Electrical Group Manager to lead and develop the Electrical Engineering Department at our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. The role focuses on mentoring staff, strengthening client relationships, and guiding project success in a growing engineering consulting firm.

The candidate will provide technical direction, oversee quality control, and maintain department standards, reporting to the Electrical Engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years design experience in consulting engineering or construction.
• Professional Licenses in NJ and NY.
• Ability to lead, mentor staff, and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and budget with proposals.
• Review and update department standards and specifications.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with clients and staff.
• Provide quality control through project reviews.
• Mentor group members and support performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing needs with Project Managers.
• Ensure financial and technical project success and client satisfaction.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to clients on technical issues.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and conferences.
