Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical General Foreman to contribute to the construction of a solar field and support the electrical scope. The role requires leading field crews, ensuring safety and quality, and performing tasks such as trenching, cable installation, splicing, and SCADA equipment work on outdoor sites.

Candidates should have GED or equivalent education, prior solar construction experience, and be able to work outdoors in variable weather.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety awareness and ability to train others on underground aspects.
• Proven leadership of field crews in electrical construction.
• Experience with solar construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the construction of a solar field and support electrical scope.
• Lead and train field crews on underground work, conduit, splices, cabling, and testing.
• Perform trenching, cable installation, splicing, SCADA equipment installation, and related tasks.
• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity on outdoor worksites in varying weather conditions.
