Job summary

C2O Americas is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead electrical construction activities on a large-scale project in Austin, TX. The General Foreman will provide field leadership, coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and daily work activities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial or large-scale commercial electrical experience with a proven ability to lead multiple crews and foremen while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical construction experience with leadership of multiple crews/foremen.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and schematics.
• Current OSHA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for electrical construction activities.
• Supervise and coordinate Electrical Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, and other craft personnel.
• Plan daily/weekly work activities based on project priorities and manpower.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain efficient field operations.
• Oversee installation of conduit, cable tray, electrical cabling, and distribution equipment.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Monitor crew productivity, work progress, and quality to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, supervision, engineering, safety, quality, and other trades.
• Identify field issues and assist with resolving installation challenges.
• Conduct pre-task planning and ensure safety requirements are understood.
• Enforce safety procedures, including LOTO and electrical safe-work practices.
