Green Mountain Electric Supply, Inc. is seeking an experienced Gear Specialist to join our team across New York locations (Albany, Liverpool, Rochester, Depew). You will quote gear projects, manage bids, and build lasting relationships with contractors and buyers of electrical products.

The role involves coordinating quotes, terms, and schedules, assisting customers with product selections, and driving project opportunities from quote to finish while traveling locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Gear project quoting experience required.
• Experience with Eaton switchgear is a plus.
• Familiarity with Eaton Bidman software is a plus.
• 1-2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Local travel during the business day; some out-of-area travel may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Make calls to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products.
• Onboard project quotes from internal team and customers.
• Collaborate with the team to improve market share on projects.
• Provide quotes, product information, and availability to customers.
• Coordinate with Inventory and Purchasing Manager on requirements.
• Process returns and credit adjustments; maintain customer relationships.
• Support customers with product needs and selection.
