Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks an Electrical Supervisor to manage the planning, layout, installation, testing and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, motors and control systems. Lead foremen and crew to complete work safely, correctly and efficiently according to plans, specs and codes.

Responsibilities include safety planning, scheduling, cost control, timecard review, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in an electrician role or higher with supervisory duties.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical craft.
• Must hold or be eligible for a state electrical license; related NCCER certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of wiring and control systems.
• Coordinate safety planning, ensure zero injuries, and sign off pre-job safety plans.
• Monitor crew performance, manage schedules and costs, and review timecards.
