Job summary

Capitol Valley Electric is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead a multifamily project in Sonoma County, CA, overseeing crew, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will interpret blueprints, manage material orders, perform site walks, document daily reports, and mentor team members. A CA General Electrician License and 8+ years of commercial experience are preferred; hotel or furnished apartment accommodations are provided for the project.

Qualifications

• CA electrician license required.
• Apprenticeship program completion a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project scope and requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and supervise a crew of electricians effectively to optimize productivity.
• Order and coordinate delivery of material.
• Conduct regular job walks and site inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is completed correctly.
• Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules.
• Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.
• Assist superintendent in employee evaluations.
• Communicate with project managers and clients.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC codes and Title 24 requirements.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance.
