Job summary

Kidwell Inc. is seeking a Small Jobs Electrical Foreman in the Lincoln area to lead and manage on-site electrical teams on commercial and multi-unit residential projects. You will plan, delegate, train, and coordinate with project management to deliver safe, on-time installs while maintaining budgets.

A Nebraska Journeyman license and strong leadership are required for this role. You’ll work from drawings, supervise field personnel, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing small to medium job sites and a Journeyman’s license are required.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills are required.
• Must be passionate about developing an outstanding team and creating an environment that allows for growth opportunities.
• Minimum of 6 years of field experience is preferred.
• All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening, and must maintain a valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and delegate tasks to apprentices and journeyman on the jobsite.
• Train and develop staff on jobs to create competent and capable teams.
• Partner with Kidwell Project Management team to coordinate change orders, purchasing, RFI’s, and other tasks to help support a successful job.
• Coordinate with the Field Personnel Director to predict future staffing needs.
• Work from drawings and blueprints supplied to make efficient use of materials and labor, in order to provide a high-quality installation and services.
• Manage and coordinate changes to job scope, always aiming to keep jobs within the estimated budget and timeline.
• Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and jobs.
• Work effectively with the general contractor and other contractors on site to maintain project timelines.
• Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations.
