Southland Industries seeks a seasoned foreman to schedule, supervise, and lead a small construction crew on site in Texas. You will ensure safety, productivity, and adherence to project plans, while mentoring apprentices and coordinating on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Known familiarity with other construction trades and crafts.
• Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple crews and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, supervise, and lead a small work crew.
• Ensure safety and productivity on site and adherence to standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety investigations as needed.
• Maintain daily timekeeping, reports, and foreman’s logs.
• Prepare and adjust plans to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Mentor apprentices and coordinate on‑the‑job training.
