Job summary

PRICE ELECTRIC in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise job-site teams on projects throughout the Des Moines area. This role serves as primary on-site contact, responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and successful project execution.

You will plan labor and resources, monitor progress, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with project managers and trades while using Procore, BIM, Outlook, and Teams to drive results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited electrical apprenticeship with 2+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent education/training.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Active electrical license (Journeyman license may be required based on work).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Ensure work meets all code, quality, company, and customer standards.
• Plan and schedule labor and resources, including 2-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades.
• Monitor productivity, materials, and job progress to meet timelines.
• Use tools such as Procore, BIM, Outlook, Teams, and related technology.
• Mentor and train apprentices and team members.
