Job summary

Trio Electric is seeking a Foreman to lead field projects in Houston, overseeing labor, materials and production from start to finish. You’ll provide technical expertise in electrical installation and troubleshooting, while guiding Crew Leaders day-to-day on commercial or light industrial jobs.

Ideal candidates have Texas Journeyman status and at least 5 years in a foreman role, with a track record of delivering safe, compliant, on-time work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical work materials, methods and tools.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
• Minimum 5 years in foreman/supervisory roles.
• Experience running at least one commercial electrical project and leading crews.

Responsibilities

• Run the job: build and maintain a 3-week look-ahead, plan labor on site, and solve jobsite issues directly with the GC and Superintendent.
• Inspect progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and adherence to specifications.
• Read blueprints and specs to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Estimate and order materials and assess worker requirements to complete jobs.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule Crew Leaders and electricians; remove roadblocks to maintain productivity.
• Record personnel, production and operational data on forms and reports.
• Assign work based on material and worker requirements; ensure compliance with codes.
