Job summary

Gregory Electric Company, Inc. seeks an Electrical Foreman to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities.

You will mentor apprentices, supervise crews, and ensure work meets NEC standards and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating on-site teams, communicating with project managers, planning tasks, and ensuring tools and materials are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, technical service manuals, contracts, and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with prior supervisory or foreman experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Accurate math calculations including addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, multiplication, division, and measurements.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and nonverbal).
• Requires self-motivation, organization, and prioritization management.
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of electricians and other personnel on the job site. Provide guidance and support to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to specifications.
• Maintain open and effective communication with project managers and other defined stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.
• Conduct pre-job planning to drive productivity goals.
• Ensure proper tools, material and equipment are onsite as required.
• Accurately install wire, conduit, panel boards, fixtures, devices, pre-fab assemblies, boxes, and breakers according to job specifications and NEC.
