Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman Electrician oversees crew work, mentors Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians, and ensures installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems to NEC and project standards.

The role requires leadership, scheduling, material planning and strong knowledge of electrical drawings and standards. Overtime and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and project specifications.
• Develop and communicate manpower, material, and scheduling needs.
• Proficient with project documentation and different trades coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure on-site work meets quality, safety and NEC/local code standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew and coordinate with supervision.
• Estimate materials from layouts and communicate lists to supervision.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits and supervise installation tasks.
