Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman Electrician oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, leading, mentoring, and evaluating performance while ensuring installation and repair work meets high standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating manpower, developing material lists, and ensuring work complies with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities with the capability to mentor a team of ~5 electricians.
• Strong understanding of project scope, scheduling and on-site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality aligns with the highest standards and project specs.
• Develop manpower schedules and coordinate material lists with supervision.
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical systems per NEC and codes.
• Read project documents and lay out work from drawings and prints.
• Maintain safety, teamwork, and on-time completion of tasks.
