Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and ability to read project docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work with crew to ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure crew work adheres to local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit with tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, and panel boards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry and read blueprints/schematics.
• Lay out small work areas from drawings; plan underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
