Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead the electrical scope of FDOT lighting, ITS, tolling, and signalization on our projects. You will supervise a crew, interpret plans, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety regulations to deliver on time and to spec.

The role emphasizes scheduling, progress monitoring, problem solving on site, and coordination with Superintendents and other trades.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid electrician license or certification as required by state regulations.
Minimum of 5 years in electrical construction or maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electricians and helpers on construction sites.
Interpret FDOT plan sets and specifications to guide installation and maintenance.
Ensure electrical work complies with NEC, safety standards, and FDOT requirements.
Plan and schedule daily work assignments and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
Conduct safety inspections and provide training to promote a safe workplace.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to resolve issues.
Maintain records of work performed and labor hours for reporting.
