Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions seeks an ITS Foreman to lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage transportation systems in road projects. You will supervise crew, coordinate with PMs and engineers, and ensure safety and quality in implementing traffic signals, cameras, and DMS equipment.

The role requires 3+ years in highway/construction with at least 1 year in a foreman position, and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway or heavy civil construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in highway projects.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Ability to read, interpret and utilize construction plans and schematics.
• Previous experience as a foreman.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, backhoe, ditch witch, mini excavators, bucket truck, boom trucks and other mobile equipment to dig, move materials, lift large and heavy materials, and compact / level earth to grade specifications.
• Operate large and small motor vehicles to transport material, equipment, and supplies.
• Use judgment based on experience, along with available resources to ensure accurate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure all specifications are met.
