Job summary

ITP (International Talent Partnership) is partnering with a growing electrical contractor to recruit an experienced Airfield Foreman for Florida projects. The role leads field crews on airport lighting, runway and taxiway lighting, and related outdoor electrical infrastructure statewide.

Candidates should have a strong background in airfield lighting, utility electrical systems, and the ability to read drawings. Travel across Florida is expected; weekends at home are typical.

Qualifications

• Past experience as Foreman, Lead Foreman, Superintendent, or Crew Lead.
• Strong background in airfield lighting, airport electrical, roadway lighting or DOT projects.
• Ability to lead crews and manage field operations effectively.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality on outdoor electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on airport and infrastructure electrical projects.
• Coordinate daily construction activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Oversee installation of runway, taxiway, and high-mast lighting and underground systems.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor coordination.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure project compliance.
• Conduct job-site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
• Communicate project progress and workforce needs to senior management.
• Support project closeout and long-term maintenance planning.
