Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions Inc is seeking an Electrical Foreman in Fort Pierce, FL to lead the electrical scope of our projects, supervise a crew, and deliver safe, high-quality installations. You will interpret plans, coordinate with the superintendent, and ensure adherence to NEC and FDOT specifications.

The role emphasizes daily scheduling, progress tracking, safety leadership, and collaboration with project teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction or maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and electrical helpers on construction sites.
• Interpret and implement FDOT plan sets, specifications, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and maintenance work.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, FDOT Standards, FDOT Specifications, and company policies.
• Plan and schedule daily work assignments, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project progress to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols, and provide training to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours for reporting and billing purposes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems encountered during installation or maintenance activities.
