Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking a licensed Electrical Project Foreman to lead field crews nationwide. The role requires installing and troubleshooting electrical systems across commercial and industrial environments, with a strong focus on safety and project execution.

You will coordinate with project managers and travel full-time, potentially with a company vehicle provided. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, NFPA 70E knowledge, and certification to operate boom/scissor lifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Electrician with proven Lead/Foreman experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proficient with test instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, megger).
• Familiar with large tools (threading, hydraulic bending, tugging).
• Strong NFPA 70E knowledge and ARC flash PPE.
• Certified to operate boom and scissor lifts; comfortable at heights.
• Own basic hand tools and PPE; reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead small crews of 2-8 electricians with daily direction and training.
• Install, layout, and troubleshoot electrical systems including switchgear, conduits, cable trays, heat tracing and freeze protection.
• Perform functional tests and diagnose issues; update or repair legacy systems.
• Design technical solutions during pre-installation planning; read blueprints and site maps.
• Set up conductors, install grounding, perform CAD welding, manage lighting circuits (120v-480v).
• Provide timely updates to Project Managers, customers, and field teams.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
