Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical Foreman to join our solar construction team. The successful candidate will be located at a project site in the United States, leading crews and contributing to the electrical scope of our renewable energy installations.

Responsibilities include trenching, cable installation, splicing, SCADA equipment setup, and comprehensive on-site documentation while maintaining safety and quality on every shift.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education required.
• Experience on solar construction projects preferred.
• Ability to supervise a crew of 10+ on field tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and safety conditions.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and commission electrical components on solar fields.
• Supervise a crew of 10+ workers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform trenching, cable installation, splicing, and testing activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and document field decisions and progress.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork

• Provides timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking.
