Role Description

The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Jupiter, FL. This position oversees daily electrical construction activities, including assigning tasks to crew members, coordinating schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to project specifications. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical plans and blueprints, installing and troubleshooting electrical systems, managing materials and tools, and maintaining job site organization. The Electrical Foreman works closely with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to meet code requirements, uphold quality standards, and support training and mentoring of electricians and apprentices.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair skills, including experience with commercial and/or residential electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead crews, coordinate schedules, and manage day-to-day job site operations.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and safety standards, with a commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience in planning material needs, managing inventory on site, and working with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, contractors, and inspectors, and for mentoring less experienced staff.
• Relevant electrical license or journeyperson status preferred; prior experience as a lead electrician or foreman is highly beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school education in electrical fields is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, use appropriate tools and equipment, and meet the physical demands of electrical construction work.
