Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead a technical services team in Orlando, FL. You will develop client relationships, mentor staff, and drive growth while delivering quality electrical service in industrial settings.

The role requires a strong safety mindset and operational leadership. You will manage day-to-day operations, hire/train staff, schedule field work, and ensure profitability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or experience equivalency with a minimum of 5 years related experience (as stated).
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, or military training in Prime Power / Electrical Power Production.
• Thorough understanding of heavy industrial, utility, large commercial, renewable energy environments and troubleshooting.
• Must work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
• Flexible hours, weekends and holidays; out-of-town work may be required.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Customer-focused collaboration across organization.
• Valid driver’s license for positions using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the location/department.
• Hire and train direct reports; conduct reviews and set development goals; mentor technicians.
• Schedule local team work and coordinate with other managers for larger jobs.
• Provide technical/practical options to customers; prepare quotes; perform job walks; review test reports.
• Maintain customer relationships with internal/external customers and vendors.
• Review jobs to ensure profitability and adherence to budgets.
• Align with VP/GM on strategic improvement initiatives.
• Prepare various reports as required.
• Work with HSE to develop safety records and practices.
• Possibly work flexible hours including weekends/holidays; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain NETA certification and pursue test level advancement when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
