Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities seeks a Work Location Supervisor to oversee transmission and distribution line facilities, ensuring safe, reliable operations. You will supervise crews on overhead and underground lines, coordinate with design teams, and manage schedules to meet customer needs.

The role may require after-hours work during emergencies and involves on-site, remote, or hybrid arrangements. The position emphasizes leadership, safety, and effective communication as key skills to maintain

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and one year of electrical or mechanical operations and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated expertise/knowledge of energized and deenergized facilities, switching and tagging procedures, and knowledge of training, clearances and working space requirements.
Valid driver license in the State with a satisfactory driving record. Possess a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Oversee completion of capital and O&M work in the area.
Respond to storm restoration efforts, including round-the-clock operations.
Lead crew efforts as Work Location Supervisor.
Coordinate with field and GO designers to develop buildable designs within approved hours.
Ensure safety compliance and train subordinates on safety.
Provide customer satisfaction by applying cost-effective work practices.
