Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities Corp. is seeking a 2nd shift Work Location Supervisor to oversee transmission and distribution work across the service area. The role operates 1400-2400 with 8 days on/6 days off, requiring strong leadership and a focus on safety and reliability.

You will coordinate with field crews, designers, and contractors, ensuring timely completion of capital and O&M projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. Extensive knowledge of safety rules and FLSA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of electrical or mechanical operations and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital and O&M work in the area.
• Respond to storm restoration efforts with round‑the‑clock responsibility as a Work Location Supervisor.
• Collaborate with field and design teams to develop designs within approved hours.
• Ensure safe working practices in compliance with safety rules and company policies; train subordinates.
• Provide cost effective, reliable service to customers and supervise resource scheduling.
• Communicate work schedules with customers, utilities and contractors.
• Conduct safety tailboards and lead, motivate and coach employees to meet expectations.
