Job summary

Kiewit Energy U.S. seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations, supervise foremen and labor crews, and ensure execution per drawings and specifications. You will manage method, scheduling, cost control, and staff assignments while maintaining strong client relations with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience with 5+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership role.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Quick learner of Kiewit's policies, procedures and software.
• Ability to resolve problems that arise on site.
• Strong organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen and laborers.
• Manage subcontractor and field management communications.
• Develop a plan to maintain good client relations on site.
• Attend client meetings for problem resolution and planning.
• Oversee monthly cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Review, approve and negotiate change orders.
• Develop and implement project completion and turnover plans.
• Maintain daily diary for records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational and procedural improvements.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
