Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support acceptance and maintenance testing across projects. The role involves travel to customer sites, supervising trainees and technicians, and ensuring quality and safety in testing of electrical systems.

The candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with on-site duties and regular documentation of test results and project reports. Strong emphasis on safety and client relations is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical testing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and three-line drawings.
• Work safely in low, medium and high voltage applications.
• LOTO and Job Hazard Analysis experience.
• Maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on electrical systems.
• Supervise Trainees, Assistants, and Technicians in electrical testing duties.
• Guide and mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians and trainees.
• Observe testing and assign work to ensure consistency.
• Document test results and complete field reports.
