Job summary

Bobst North America is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician (Electrical) for the corrugated, folder-gluer line. You will service machines, install, relocate equipment, and train customers across the US/Canada.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in packaging, electrical engineering background, and strong troubleshooting. This role requires 85–95% travel and offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in packaging/finishing converting as an electrician on Bobst folder-gluers or similar equipment.
• Background in electrical engineering.
• Diagnosing faults and making recommendations in customer environments.
• Knowledgeable with VFDs, servo drives, PLCs.
• Basic computer programming.
• Electrical & electronic circuit wiring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and installation of machines; relocation of equipment.
• Customer training; preventative maintenance; parts orders.
• Troubleshooting problems and recommending service programs.
