Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon, Bethel, ME, is seeking a Field service Technician to support our Power Solutions Group. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment in the field, delivering exceptional service and acting as a trusted Sunbelt Solomon representative.

Travel locally and regionally with occasional overnight assignments are expected. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with preferred technical training or an associate degree in electrical trades.

Qualifications

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment.
• Read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment.
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs, including occasional emergency calls with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
