Job summary

WSB is seeking an Electrical Field Lead to oversee contractor work on transmission and distribution projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence. You will act as the primary liaison between contractors and the client, validate invoicing, and maintain project documentation.

The role requires an accredited Lineman Apprenticeship, 4+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to work outdoors and travel within the territory. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in electrical distribution and/or transmission line construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to perform energized work on electric utility systems.
• Knowledge of switching procedures and outage management practices.
• Experience with substation or underground distribution work.
• OSHA 1910.269 and OSHA 10 certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with electrical standards and safety rules.
• Oversee daily crew activities, safety, productivity, and quality.
• Validate contractor work and identify issues before impact on outcomes.
• Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate contractor actions.
• Verify invoicing, change orders, and time/equipment requests.
• Document progress with daily reports and site records.
