This is a full-time, on-site Field Engineer role based in Columbus, NE. The Field Engineer will support solar project construction, commissioning, and operations by providing technical expertise in the field, including equipment installation oversight, system testing, and performance verification. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and vendors, and documenting field activities, test results, and corrective actions. The role involves delivering technical support to operations and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of field processes and procedures. The Field Engineer will also assist with project scheduling, resource coordination, and communication of progress and risks to stakeholders.
