Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an electrical construction professional in Cheyenne, WY, to coordinate design, procurement, and field activities for a large-scale power project. The role develops temporary power plans and drawings and tracks quantities, costs, and progress to meet energization milestones.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering and procurement, preparing requisitions, ensuring conformance with codes, and leading field teams while maintaining ES&H standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field and 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEEE codes and compliance with local electrical regulations.
• Experience in electrical construction, raceway installation, cable pulling, and energization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues for the electrical discipline.
• Plan cable orders and sequencing with procurement to meet project schedules.
• Develop temp power plans and single-line drawings.
• Forecast quantities, costs, and progress for electrical work.
• Direct requisitions for field materials and equipment and manage substitutions.
• Assist energization planning and milestones with project teams.
• Interface with Project Controls for submittals and quantities in ePCWorks.
