Job summary

Lemartec Corporation, a national general contractor, seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical) to support design development and construction while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and project instructions. Location: United States with significant travel.

You will contribute to project controls (cost, scheduling, estimating), subcontract oversight, and coordination with Project Managers and field teams. 1–2 years of construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering information to Project Manager, Craft Supervisors, and Corporate Functional Managers to ensure design and construction work complies with engineering standards.
• Provide project controls support (cost, scheduling, estimating) and subcontract oversight.
• Understand technical drawings and specifications for industrial construction; prepare field design changes and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate material and human resources to support construction schedules and contract terms.
• Support Project Controls Manager with cost, scheduling, and estimating/re-estimating.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation, punch lists, and material calculations as required.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies, and assist in expediting design development.
