Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. seeks a full-time Utility Field Contractor Supervisor with an electrical background to support power market operations in Tampa, Florida.

The role leads utility subcontractors, coordinates field execution, and documents program activities across surge protection, outdoor lighting, and storm-response projects. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electric utility distribution, storm response experience, and strong communication with utility customers.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience as a licensed electrical professional.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electric utility distribution system maintenance, construction, and operations.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate safety leadership by promoting Hanson’s Safe Work Practices and documenting safety protocols during work activities.
Coordinate with utility providers, emergency management agencies, customers, subcontractors, and Hanson teams.
Document work according to program requirements, findings, repairs, and recommendations in detailed reports.
