Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks a full-time Utility Field Contractor Supervisor with an electrical background to support power market operations in Tampa, Florida.

The role leads utility subcontractor coordination, field execution, and post-storm assessments for a range of programs including surge protection, outdoor lighting, and EV infrastructure. Travel across Florida is required, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience as a licensed electrical contractor, journeyman lineman, or similar role.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in electric utility distribution system maintenance, construction and operations.
• Experience with storm response protocols and emergency electrical restoration within an Incident Command Structure.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards and utility infrastructure.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in communications with utility customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of utility subcontractors, execution and documentation for projects.
• Support customer facing utility programs including surge protection, outdoor lighting, demand-side management, and EVs.
• Coordinate field resources and field execution of utility programs and post-storm damage assessments.
• Document work according to program requirements and generate detailed reports.
• Coordinate with utility providers, emergency management, customers, subcontractors and Hanson project teams.
