Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience as licensed electrical contractor/operational electrical engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electric utility distribution maintenance, construction, and operations.
• Demonstrated storm response protocols experience and working within an Incident Command Structure.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Florida on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety leadership by promoting Hanson’s Safe Work Practices and ensuring documented safety protocols.
• Respond to utility work orders and support ongoing customer programs and post-storm restoration.
• Conduct field assessments of electrical systems, including substations, distribution lines, and service panels.
• Coordinate with utility providers, emergency management agencies, customers, subcontractors, and Hanson teams.
• Document work in detailed reports and ensure alignment with program requirements.
• Participate in pre/post-storm client planning meetings as needed.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to achieve successful program outcomes.
