Job summary

Skilled Performance Group is seeking Journeyman Electricians for a large data center and mission-critical project in Amarillo, TX. You will install, test, and commission complex electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial setting, ensuring safety and compliance with NEC standards.

Ideal candidates have a Texas Journeyman license, OSHA 10, and 4+ years of industrial experience, with the ability to read electrical drawings and work extended shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician License - REQUIRED
• Minimum 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
• Current OSHA 10 certification - REQUIRED
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and installation details
• Experience using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and electrical safe-work practices
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms as required
• Ability to meet project-specific onboarding, drug screening, background, and badging requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift tools/materials
• Ability to work extended shifts, overtime, nights, or weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems in data center environments
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specs for installations
• Operate testing equipment and tools to verify integrity and safety
• Adhere to NEC, LOTO, PPE, and safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with team to meet schedule and quality requirements
