Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Fabrication Associate to perform various electrical fabrication tasks under the supervision of the Fabrication Manager. You will keep materials, tools, and equipment organized and safe while working in a regulated environment.

Candidates should be able to operate power tools, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a productive, clean job site. High school or GED required, OSHA 10 is preferred, and valid driver’s license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.
• Able to maintain high levels of productivity while meeting deadlines and accuracy.
• Effective and professional communicator.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal cutting saws, conduit benders, threading machines and drills to fabricate components according to electrical drawings.
• Load and stack stock, tools and work in progress.
• Assist in equipment operations and replenish materials as needed.
• Assist in housekeeping of work areas.
• Perform tasks safely and follow safety policies; suggest improvements.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.
