Job summary

Chapel Electric Co., LLC, an EMCOR Company, is hiring an experienced Estimator in Dayton, Ohio to price electrical construction projects across automotive, commercial, healthcare, and industrial markets. You will interpret construction documents, perform detailed takeoffs, and coordinate with Owners, Construction and Project Managers to deliver accurate cost projections.

This role emphasizes tight deadlines, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality in every estimate.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating electrical construction projects is required.
• Ability to interpret engineering contracts, plans and specifications.
• Ability to obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience performing take-offs and time-sensitive estimates.
• Strong math skills and construction documentation comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts, plans, and specs to develop detailed estimates.
• Perform take-offs within tight deadlines.
• Define project requirements accurately.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and verify complete scope of work.
• Assist in determining resource requirements aligned with company goals.
• Provide liaison support to stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of submitted estimates.
• Provide turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.
