Job summary

Chapel Electric Co., LLC, an EMCOR Company, is seeking an electrical Estimator engaging in preconstruction and cost prediction across diverse markets. The role collaborates with Owners, Construction and Project Managers to produce detailed estimates and ensure accurate scope interpretation.

The position emphasizes analyzing contracts, providing quotes, and coordinating with subcontractors to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and detail orientation skills are required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills required.
• Accubid experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and interpret contracts, plans and specifications to develop detailed estimates.
• Complete take-off within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Define project requirements accurately.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure complete scope of work.
• Assist in determining project resources in line with goals.
• Provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure estimates submitted are accurate and complete.
• Provide timely turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.
