Job summary

Chapel Electric Co., LLC, an EMCOR Company, is seeking a Project Manager in Training to support seasoned project teams in Dayton, OH. This hands-on role focuses on overseeing project engineers, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring work complies with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of electrical construction experience, and proficiency with MS Office, CAD tools, and project management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Accubid, AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical/construction programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management/document control software and construction/financial software packages.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall flow of projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
• Support field personnel with subcontractor relations and issue resolution.
• Maintain financial responsibility for projects and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Ensure proper project document control (insurance, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review scheduling, delivery, and progress.
