LiveWire is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. You will bring extensive expertise in electrical estimating, working with a senior estimator and collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate bids.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, a strong background in blueprints and pricing software, and a proven ability to drive profitability while meeting client expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, construction management preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, layout drawings and modify them for optimization
• Proficient in estimating software and cost databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates from proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
• Identify labor, material and time requirements with customers/owners
• Compute costs using ConEst or similar estimating software
• Quantify materials using Bluebeam
• Assess profitability and provide solutions to increase project profitability
• Submit competitive bids in accordance with guidelines
• Update cost databases to reflect market changes
