Job summary

Live Systems, LLC. is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead cost projections for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will analyze specs, drawings, and blueprints, determine scope and resource needs, and develop competitive bids while maintaining strong supplier and subcontractor relationships. Marketing and client communication are essential to secure new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience with Accubid Anywhere or previous versions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Exceptional marketing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive project bids.
• Present and explain estimates to clients, addressing questions or concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and schedules.
• Utilize marketing skills to promote our services and secure new business opportunities.
• Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
