Job summary

Dynalectric Company San Diego is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare detailed pricing for bid packages and support development of competitive quotations. The role requires analyzing drawings, specs, and vendor quotes to deliver accurate estimates under tight deadlines.

Candidates should have 3–6 years in estimating or preconstruction, a HS diploma, and preferably a BS in engineering. Proficiency with Accubid, Excel, and project management software is expected, with strong communication

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ experience in estimating/preconstruction services or 5+ years related experience in the construction industry. Design/Build experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or construction related field desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, construction industry, materials, and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, calculate, and compile historical cost to estimate current or future electrical projects or products.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and project teams to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates used by management for planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
