Job summary

Dynalectric Company in San Diego area seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for electrical projects, delivering accurate estimates and ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and execution strategy.

You will bridge clients, design teams, and internal operations, coordinating with engineers, architects, owners, and subcontractors, and overseeing takeoffs, pricing changes, and bids to ensure timely, competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating/preconstruction for electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple bids under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Attend estimating and project meetings to discuss bid status.
• Conduct job walks to assess site conditions.
• Create and understand conceptual electrical designs.
• Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on cost changes.
• Ensure proper turnover documentation.
