Job summary

Eagle Electrical Services, an EMCOR Company, seeks a Junior Estimator/Estimator in Training in Plain City, Ohio. The role involves estimating contract work, interpreting construction documents, and forecasting project costs with close collaboration among Owners, Construction, and Project Managers.

The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, 5+ years estimating experience (or related progress), and proficiency in MS Office; Accubid experience is a plus. This is a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and detail orientation.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills required.
• Accubid experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and interpret engineering contracts, plans and specifications to develop detailed construction estimates.
• Complete estimate take-off within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately define project requirements.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure complete scope of work.
• Assist in determining project resource requirements in alignment with company goals.
• Provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all estimates submitted are accurate and complete.
• Provide timely project turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.
