Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Estimator II in Coppell, TX to prepare bids and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will work with senior estimators to assemble bids, perform takeoffs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

The role requires a 3+ year estimating background in commercial construction, proficiency in Accubid and CAD/3D tools, and strong communication. Rosendin offers ESOP, 401(k), and a performance bonus program.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction estimating and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and front-end documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Experience with CAD or 3D software preferred.
• Minimum 3 years estimating commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare estimates by complete takeoffs and entry into estimating system; verify accuracy.
• Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes.
• Itemize incidentals: sub-contract work, equipment, tools, supplies.
• Assist senior estimators with labor productivity and unit costs.
• Present estimates to Lead Estimator and Estimating Manager for approval.
• Explain estimate scope and pricing during project turnover.
