Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an Estimator I to support the estimating team on electrical construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform quantity takeoffs, assist with cost estimates, and learn installation methods to translate scope into pricing.

You will work closely with senior estimators on small to mid-size projects, gaining hands-on experience with materials, labor budgeting, and bid documentation while developing accuracy and efficiency in our estimating process.

Qualifications

• Foundation in blueprint reading and estimating.
• Experience with electrical drawings and specs preferred.
• Military or technical training considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Create the project folder and download project documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings for systems.
• Review specifications and project manuals for accuracy.
• Build material lists in BOM format and provide to vendors.
• Solicit subcontractor quotes for basic scopes (e.g., trenching, low-voltage).
• Assist in developing labor estimates and bid documentation.
• Support bid day by updating pricing and organizing bid docs.
• Maintain cost databases and vendor information.
• Participate in jobsite visits to observe methods and quantities.
• Collaborate with estimators and project teams to refine estimates.
