Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Houston.

The Estimator will evaluate project requirements and produce detailed on-time cost estimates for control panel and relay projects, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Project Managers, and Product Managers to ensure accurate, competitive bids. The role requires understanding of electrical systems and construction methods, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to support the company’s high-quality,

Qualifications

• Two-plus years of experience in Estimating required.

Responsibilities

• Create an estimate using Estimating software from customer specifications and drawings.
• Create bills of material from electrical drawings and/or wiring diagrams.
• Obtain quotes with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal supply chain for favorable pricing.
• Create a proposal letter to be delivered to customer with BOM, pricing, and delivery date.
• Input and maintain information in ERP/CRM for all quotes.
• Meet quoting output requirements and on-time delivery of proposals.
• Interface with Sales, project managers, and product managers to clarify scope.
