Job summary

Live Systems, LLC is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator in Texas to prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze drawings and specifications, and craft competitive bids that meet client needs and project goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of electrical estimating, hands-on experience with Accubid Anywhere, strong communication and marketing skills, and the ability to collaborate with project managers and engineers to win work and deliver accurate, well-supported proposals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical estimating.
• Experience with Accubid Anywhere or previous versions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Exceptional marketing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive project bids.
• Present and explain estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and schedules.
• Utilize marketing skills to effectively promote our services and secure new business opportunities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
