Job summary

Legence Corp. is seeking an experienced Estimator to support preconstruction and our estimating team.

The role involves developing accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical construction, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, and delivering competitive bids across data centers, labs, and industrial projects. You will read drawings, perform takeoffs, evaluate risks, and prepare complete estimates for design-build and plan/spec projects while collaborating with project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and estimating experience considered.
• 3–5 years proven success preparing estimates for commercial construction, preferably electrical.
• Experience estimating projects from $50K to $100M is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and assign costs to bid documents and drawings.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and unit cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Prepare pricing breakouts and alternates; develop design-build and plan/spec estimates.
